Tavis Smiley spreading Farrakhan's message of anti-Semitism on PBS

From Werner Cohn:

"The guest of the show was Phyllis Bennis, Institute for Policy Studies, known for her radical anti-Israel views.
Things started badly when Ms. Bennis opined that, according to common opinion, Israel assassinated five Iranian scientists.  This was given, more or less, as fact rather than conjecture.
Shortly thereafter, Mr. Smiley opined as follows:  "let's be frank about it, Jewish money matters" in the current election campaign, referring to Jewish contributors to Romney.
Then Ms. Bennis, approximately as follows:  no no no, it's not Jewish money that is so bad, it's pro-Israel money.  I'm Jewish myself, and I am not one of those bad Jews.
Then the clincher by Ms. Bennis, which was left unchallenged by Mr. Smiley (I'm quoting from memory):  one of the troubles with both sides in the presidential campaign is that they do not challenge the "war crimes" of Israel.
So the viewer was left with the following impression:  1) "Jewish money" is a problem, but apparently not Presbyterian or Baptist money (acc. to Mr. Smiley);  and 2) Israel has committed war crimes, given as a fact without qualification.
Conclusion:  a hateful, anti-Semitic, biased message on Public Television, brought to you, in part, with taxpayer money."

Smiley is palley with the lunatic hatemonger Louis Farrakhan, so it's no surprising they hold similar views about "Jew money"
